There’s no doubt that trampoline parks are a lot of fun and provide hours of exercise and entertainment, but this means the equipment takes a pounding. With all trampoline parks, safety is paramount so following the park’s rules is a must and the parks themselves work hard to look after their customers. Maintaining the equipment to a high standard is of utmost importance, including the foam cubes in the pits.

How many foam pit cubes do I need?

Trampoline park foam orders are usually for foam cubes and sometimes foam logs. The number of foam cubes required will vary depending upon the size of the pit and the size of the foam cubes. You may already know the number of cubes needed, or you could simply replace the worn-out cubes with the same amount. If not, to find out how many you will need you begin  by calculating the volume of the pit itself, which will be the length x width x depth.  Most trampoline park foam cubes are 20cm or 15cm. Some pits contain foam logs, these are most often sized 60x10x10cm.   As a general guide a two metre by two metre pit of 1-metre depth will need approximately 350 of sized 20cm cubes to meet a 70% capacity. For 15cm cubes, you will need over 800.

How much does trampoline park foam cost?

The cost of each cube will depend upon the standard of foam chosen. If you are ordering your new foam pit cubes with F.C. Hancox, to find the cost per cube, simply go to our foam cut to size page, select the rectangle/square shape and enter your dimensions. Select the type of foam you’d like your cubes to be made from, and you will find an instant quote per cube. You can try different foams for price comparison. If you are unsure of which foam to select, then do get in touch we’d be happy to discuss your requirements. Once you are happy with your foam choice, select the quantity you want and place your order. Our prices are competitive, and they include VAT.

Is the foam fire retardant?

All F.C. Hancox foams are of high quality. Trampoline park foams supplied by us are indoor foams and all of our indoor foams are fire retardant and meet BS5852 requirements. Fire retardancy certificates can be provided on request should you need these for health and safety files.

We do stock an outdoor foam, which would be useful for a pit that is open to the elements. But it is important to note that this foam does not meet the BS5852 standard and is not for indoor use. Whichever foam you choose, you can expect the best quality at a great price.

Foam pit base layers

Most foam pits have a base layer of foam. If you are replacing trampoline park foam cubes, then it is likely that the base foam will also need replacing. This foam can be supplied by us, using the same system as with your cube order, simply select the shape, add the dimensions of the foam required. For size you could use your old base layer as a template, choose your foam type and you will see the price clearly. You can then add this foam to your basket. We are able to cut base layers to any shape or size, so we can supply these for all kinds of pit bases, including round and oval.
