Foam Grades & Applications
Standard foam – Used widely in furniture manufacture for everyday furniture and use, our standard foam is CMF foam. We stock four options and each can be custom cut to customer-provided specifications. As an upholstery foam supplier for many years, we know these foams are suitable for firm seating and can be used for arms and backs in many upholstery applications.
High-density foam – Available in three densities CMB 6, CMF 50, and CMB8, these are hard-working, reliable foams perfect for contract seating in applications where there is heavy usage. These foams are also an environmentally friendly option as they are manufactured using offcuts and waste foam. Budget, comfortable and very versatile.
Memory foam – We supply Vasco 50 memory foam sheet, which an excellent choice for all luxury comfort applications. As well as being an upholstery foam supplier for domestic furnishings, we can supply memory foam for many medical applications, from wheelchair cushion pads to foam for orthopaedic chairs.
Reflex – Another option would be our range of Reflex foams. Available in four great options, these superb foams provide comfort and support and are an excellent choice for many upholstery applications, especially luxury and bespoke.
Reticulated foam – The best quality outdoor furniture and most marine seating will be made from reticulated foam, which means that its cell structure is more open allowing moisture to easily drain through. Calipore outdoor foam from F.C. Hancox is available in firm and medium options. Calipore outdoor foam is quick-drying and has anti-bacterial properties.
