Vasco 50 is a luxury foam that moulds to the body and offers full body support. This luxury foam is best used for seat backs. For seat cushions, we suggest that for foam cushion replacement, you consider having a layer of memory foam adhered to one of our firmer foams. This is called lamination.

CMF30H – This value foam is best used for thin seat padding.

Left over foam is gathered and sent to be made into this versatile, inexpensive foam. Choose from CMB 6LB – A very firm chip foam, excellent for heavy use or, CMB 8LB which is an extra-firm chip foam.
Outdoor foam cushion replacement
We also supply Calipore outdoor foam suitable for replacing foam in garden furniture cushions, boat cushions, and other outdoor uses due to its water resistant and anti-bacterial properties. (Please note, Calipore doesn’t have the same fire-resistant properties as indoor foams, so do not use for indoor furnishings.)

Sofa Back Cushions – Soft foam is a good choice. Both Vasco 50 and Reflex foams provide outstanding comfort for sofa backs.
Dining Chairs – Small seat pads are super comfy with Reflex foams or for a firmer choice, like a CMF foam.
Bench Seating – Heavy use? CMB foams are extra firm and very hard wearing so excellent for the hospitality trade. However, for domestic use, a CMF foam will suit.
Window Seats – Reflex foam or a CMF foam would be a good selection here.
Outdoor Cushions – Calipore outdoor foam is quick drying and waterproof.

- How much does a foam cushion replacement cost?
This depends upon the size of the foam pad and the type of foam used. On our foam-cut-to size page you can try out the cost of our different foams before you buy. - Can I send you my cushion covers?
If you aren’t confident about taking measurements for your new foam, yes, we can do this for you. Get in touch and we’ll explain how this works. - How do I measure my cushions?
Remove the cover and measure between the stitching. The dimensions that you need to supply are on our foam-cut-to-size page once you’ve clicked on the shape. The figures needed are marked D1,D2, D3… etc You can read more about measuring here: How to Measure Foam. - Do you replace foam for outdoor cushions?
Yes. We supply Calipore outdoor foam. (Note: This foam should not be used for indoor furnishings.) - What foam density is best for sofa cushions?
The problem with using density is that it doesn’t mean firmness. Top quality foams, such as Reflex foam and Vasco 50 memory foams are dense foams that are soft. The foams that we recommend for sofa seat cushions are from our Reflex range. - Can you replace caravan or motorhome cushion foam?
Yes. We can supply foam for all kinds of cushions. The main criteria being that the cushion cover can easily be removed.
